Ford Mainline Seat Belt
Ford Motor Company designed and manufactured the Ford Mainline for the 1952 to 1956 model years. It had a base trim level of the 1953 Ford range below the Ford Customline and the Ford Crestline. The Ford Mainline kept its position in the restyled 1955 Ford Motor Company range but was replaced by the Ford Custom in 1957.

The Ford Mainline was made available in several body styles, including a 2-door coupe, a 2-door sedan, a 2-door station wagon, and a 4-door sedan. The vehicle was also available with two different engine options—an inline six-cylinder and a V8.

At one point, the Ford Mainline was also present in the Australian automotive market, selling alongside the Ford Sunliner until 1959. There, the name “Mainline” applied to a 2-door coupe utility version of the 1952 Ford Customline sedan that was manufactured locally.

Today, prices for a Ford Mainline vary, depending on the quality and condition of the vehicle. A 1956 2-door sedan Ford Mainline—if in great condition—can sell for just shy of $13,000!

As with all older makes and models of vehicles, the Ford Country Sedan can have some seriously worn out belts after many years of use. If you own a Ford Country Sedan and your seat belts are cut, frayed, ripping, or simply look dull or worn out, you should consider getting them replaced or repaired. The latter option can yield you the same result and cost you hundreds of dollars less. A great company to go to for Ford Country Sedan seat belt repair is Safety Restore.
