A seat belt repair in Georgia may be needed if you own a car that's been in an accident. Whether the airbags deployed or not makes no difference, as seat belts may lock up even during a minor collision. Seat belts, inlcuding seat belt retractors, seat belt tensioners and buckle pretensioners, all have a gas-charge in them that ignites during a crash. This gas-charge - a pyrotechnic device, can only be used once. Once used, the seat belt will no longer function properly. It may lock up and cease to retract. If you have a seat belt that is locked, we can repair it for you! We specialize in post-accident restorations which inlcudes repairing seat belts and resetting SRS airbag modules. We have technicians with years of experience hanlding each seat belt. Because a seat belt is a vital safety component, each one is thoroughly inspected for a proper repair. If your seat belts are in need of repair, let us do the job and give you a peace of mind with our Lifetime Warranty. All seat belts are rebuilt using 100% OEM parts and are done in 24 hours!

A seat belt retractor is usally referred to as simply the "seat belt" or the "male" seat belt retractor. This is the assembly where the actual belt is retracted from and is mounted to the pillar of the car. Each seat belt retractor has a buckle latch that fits into the buckle pretensioner. Each seat belt retractor also has a gas-charge which is ready lock the entire mechanism in an event of a crash. All seat belt retractors can be repaired by us! Ford, Chevy, Honda, Nissan, Toyota, Mercedes, Dodge & more!

A buckle pretensioner is the female part of the seat belt, where the latch from the seat belt retractor fits into. Most buckle pretensioners do not have a gas charge in them, however it is not uncommon to find buckle pretensioners as pictured above. Buckle pretensioners with a gas charge can be easliy identifed as they have an accordian-like cover around. This compresses when deployed. Common cars are Honda, Acura, Ford & Chevy.

A dual-stage seat belt is a seat belt retractor that has 2 gas charges. More and more seat belts now feature a dual-stage system. A dual-stage seat belt is safer as there is 2x the amount of deployment. This guaranteed a safe lock in an event of a crash. Though these seat belts are usually model-specific (based on the vehicle design) some of the most popular models are: VW Jetta, Nissan Rogue, KIA Soul, GM, Chevy, Mazda and other makes with new models.
