The Chevrolet Malibu is a mid-size car manufactured and marketed by Chevrolet from 1964 to 1983 and since 1997. It was named after the coastal community of Malibu, California, the Malibu was marketed mostly in North America, with the eighth generation introduced globally. The Malibu went through nine generations of redesigning their vehicle and trying to make it perfect in every way. Originally the Malibu was a rear-wheel-drive intermediate, then GM changed the Malibu nameplate as a front-wheel-drive car in 1997. Safety in vehicles is very important and the Malibu’s standard safety features on the eighth generation Malibu includes dual-stage front airbags for the driver and front passenger, along with pelvic/thorax side-impact and knee airbags up front also. It also includes roof rail airbags with rollover protection which are standard. Also available as an option are second-row head/thorax side-impact airbags, lane departure warning system with forwarding collision alert and a rearview camera system. Safety features were also remade and were improved for the 2019 Malibu which included Low-Speed Forward Automatic Braking, IntelliBeam high-beam assist headlamps and a semi-automated parking system.
Chevy made it possible for people to choose what would work best for them and what they needed. Safety Restore does the same with you seat belt repair or replacement options that you can choose from. They offer single-stage, dual-stage, and triple-stage seat belt repair. Furthermore, if your Chevy Malibu has torn seat belt webbing they can either replace your webbing with a color match or with a custom color of your choice. Safety Restore has everything you need to drive safely on the road.
