Chevrolet Cruze SRS Airbag Modules

General Motors one of Chevrolet’s divisions designed the Chevrolet Cruze since 2008, it's considered a compact car. Between 2011 and 2016, the first-generation Chevrolet Cruze was available in several different trim levels. The Chevrolet Cruze not only was a great family car but the Cruze first entered the World Touring Car Championship in 2009 with a 2.0-litre engine, taking home six wins in its debut season. The Cruze has shown how successful it is since its entry, with driver Yvan Muller winning the championship two years in a row in 2010 and again in 2011 using the new 1.6-litre turbocharged engine. Not only did Chevrolet place first, second and third in 2011, but it also finished 1–2–3 again in 2012. In 2011 The Cruze won the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship. Even when they weren’t being funded from the manufacturer, the Cruze remained the car to beat on the track, even against teams from Honda and Lada. Sadly, production of the Cruze ended in South Korea in July 2018, and in the US and Mexico in March 2019. Whether the vehicle was being used as a family car or on the track keeping those airbags in great condition was very important.

If you do own a Chevy Cruze, and your airbag light is on then the module may have to be reset. Safety Restore has professional technicians that can do a SRS Airbag Module Reset. There can be many reasons for your airbag light to come on, for example, your airbags deployed, you have faulty seat belt pretensioners, faulty airbag clockspring, crash sensors fault, crash data stored, wiring harness problem, and miscommunication or no communication. No matter the reason, you should always scan your system using an OBD airbag scanner to read and obtain the code, if you do not own one, a local shop usually can scan it for you. Safety Restore will reprogram your SRS module to factory condition, making the airbag computer as good as new.
