Volkswagen Pickup Seat Belt
Volkswagen has been teasing the North American market with a Volkswagen Pickup, the Atlas Tanoak. The Atlas Tanoak has a unibody design, just like the Honda Ridgeline. It has still yet to make a firm decision on whether or not they will be bringing it into production for the market yet. Volkswagen has made its mark in the SUV market and is now open to the pickup space. Due to its failure with the Routan (a rebadged version of the Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan), Volkswagen is careful in making sure the Atlas Tanoak is credible and has something to offer. It is unsure when or if the Atlas Tanoak pickup will be released but it is definitely a tease.
Though there is not much information on the safety features of the Atlas, it is still just as important to keep the vehicles SRS in factory condition, to ensure it can do its job in the event of an accident. Driving safely on the road, and having all components of the vehicles Supplemental Restraint System in factory conditions are both great ways to help ensure your safety. If you are ever in an accident, you want to make sure the vehicle can protect you the best it can. For this to happen, you may need to get some parts replaced, repaired, or reset.
