Ford Windstar Seat Belt
The Ford Windstar is a minivan that was manufactured and sold by Ford in the year 1995 until 2007. It was intended to replace the Ford Aerostar, which was the first minivan sold by Ford. While the Ford Aerostar certainly proved to be successful in the minivan market, Ford was seeking to get a piece of the substantial market share held by Chrysler minivans in the late 80s. To better align with Chrysler minivans, the Windstar adapted a front-wheel-drive layout. Furthermore, Ford designed the Windstar to have a “two-box” layout, rather than the “one-box” design found in previous Ford vehicles. The body design of the Ford Windstar had a distinct passenger compartment and hood line. Some of the other design features implemented onto the Ford Windstar were back seat air conditioning, middle-row bucket seats, back-seat audio controls, programmed headlamps, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a keyless access system, and a trip computer paired with a digital instrument panel. It also introduced a few new things to the typical minivan design. It included a wide-angle mirror in the overhead console—which gave the driver sight of the rear passenger area—and a door lock control from the back door. Three generations of the Ford Windstar ended up being sold, with the final generation marketed under the name Ford Freestar.

Even though the Ford Windstar is no longer on the market, you or a family member may still be driving this vehicle to this day. As with any older model, some components of your vehicle may have become worn out or damaged over time. You should take the time to look your car over. If you notice that your seat belts are not working the way they should be or do not look like factory belts any longer, you may need Ford Windstar seat belt repair. A company that specializes in all kinds of seat belt repair, including seat belt retractor repair, seat belt webbing replacement, and seat belt tensioner repair, is called Safety Restore. You can rest assured that your Ford Windstar seat belt repair will be in great hands with this company.
