Ford Taurus X Seat Belt
The Ford Taurus X is the name that was applied to the Ford Freestar in the year 2007 when Alan Mulally became CEO of Ford Motor Company. Basically, when he became CEO, he wanted to shift from Ford nameplates starting with the letter “F”. This decision was announced at the 2007 Chicago Auto Show and was applied in 2008.

Some of the styling characteristics of the Ford Taurus X are a flush-mounted three-bar horizontal grille made out of chrome, a contrasting paint color on the lower body and wheel well trim, and an outdoors-themed Eddie Bauer trim level. The Ford Taurus X also has a 3.5 L Duratec 35 V6 engine and output that could reach 263 horsepower. The vehicle is available with a 6-speed automatic transmission, and all-wheel drive was always available as an option. A couple of other features of the vehicle include power-folding second-row seating and a power-controlled rear liftgate.

Partially affected by the auto industry crisis of the years 2008 to 2010, the Ford Taurus X was finally discontinued in the year 2009, with the Ford Flex serving as the vehicle’s successor.

If you own a Ford Taurus X of your own and see that the seat belts are just not cutting it any longer—in terms of appearance, safety, and function—you should look into getting Ford Taurus X seat belt repair.
